Hello from Houston

Hey guys, new here, hoping to learn quite a bit. A little about myself:
1. Based in Houston
2. Level 3 licensed security officer
3. Never shot long distance before and just starting out
4. First bolt gun is a Mossberg Patriot Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor straight vanilla. No scope yet though.

I listen to the podcast at work all the time, and even though most of the knowledge with precision rifles are best explained visually, I've learned quite a bit. Now I just need to get a proper scope and get out there for some range time.

Look into coming up to a match at Cawthorne cartridge Club in Navasota. First Saturday of every month. You don’t have to shoot, you could observe and talk... get a ton of knowledge about prs and long range shooting in general. Great bunch of guys, literally shirt off their back kinda guys up there.
