I am just getting started in the long range shooting. I used to shoot a lot years ago with my buddies. Went a few weeks ago and shoot out to 1065 yards and was hooked. Just ordered my gun and started getting everything bought fo it.We are starting to work on my range tomorrow. I think we can shoot safely out to 1410 yards. Looking forward to getting started shooting .

Welcome from another Ky member. You must be down by the coal mines, up here in northern Ky, it’s tough to find any range over 400 yards, lots of hills.

I live in Grayson county l am getting ready to put a range at my house. Longest target will be 1410 yards. We set one up today at 751 yards to shoot my new gun at and check my kestrel information,

That awesome, I’m in Boone County, with the Amazon deal happening here at the airport all the property is getting bought up fast and for big money, lots of people moving in. Good luck with your new set up.

Gotta Love amazon. I’m in Boone county. There’s a 650yd range in Indiana not far from here.

@69ls my wife is from that neck of the woods. We hunt on her family’s land down that way.

Amazon has been good for the economy here, but dang the traffic and land prices have gone nuts, I’d be interested in the name of the range in Indiana. I hope to try to get to thunder valley precision in Ohio when the weather permits, it’s about 2 hours away but you can shoot up to a mile. Never been there but the pictures look nice.

I haven’t been up to Thunder Valley. There is a range down in Hazard that goes to 1500. I’ve shot there a few times. It’s about the same distance as Thunder valley from us.

At my personal range. We had a little match last weekend. We shot 8 stages at 6 rounds per station. Stages ranged from 300 yards to 769 yards. We have about 28 targets set up all are AR500 steel. One Kyl rack at 500 and one kyl rack at 762 yards.
