Hey everyone, I am currently pondering a new project bolt action build, trying to figure out what platform I should start with and it will be 308 cal im on a very tight budget but I don't mind spending a couple hundred bucks every two weeks. I would love to have savage ba 110 but... I hope to get some feedback and I definitely will try to give my own.

Welcome 6Speed. If you are willing to spend a $200 every couple weeks why not read here and ask a lot of questions, before you know it you will have saved enough to buy what you want.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with a .308.
