Join the contestYeah, barge in someone's home and shoot them? That's good to you??? The Cops just have a license to murder anyone, anytime, anywhere.....???Looks like good shoot here. Dumb ass.
I’m with you in principle, but the wife walks out and says ”he’s trying to hit me.” Presumably she knows he is walking around with a firearm in his hands. She got him deaded. And the kid calling the cops because he is annoyed at their arguing, derp. Looked and sounded like a stupid situation all the way around.Yeah, barge in someone's home and shoot them? Yes, it's a horrible incident. The suspect was bringing up a weapon. The cop, in no world or universe, is obligated to stand there and die. However, the mag dump is becoming prevalent. However, it does stop the threat.Yeah, barge in someone's home and shoot them? That's good to you??? The Cops just have a license to murder anyone, anytime, anywhere.....???

Enlighten me on the proper response for this situation, you can start at the part where the woman walks past the officer.Yeah, barge in someone's home and shoot them? That's good to you??? The Cops just have a license to murder anyone, anytime, anywhere.....???
Did the guy have a gun? I watched it a few times and just couldn't see. If so that's just really unfortunate but I don't know exactly what protocol is in that specific instance since the son or daughter who called said there wasn't any weapon ect... the wife definitely got him him deadedI’m with you in principle, but the wife walks out and says ”he’s trying to hit me.” Presumably she knows he is walking around with a firearm in his hands. Don't barge into the house and try to de escalate the situation. Wait for back upEnlighten me on the proper response for this situation, you can start at the part where the woman walks past the officer.
I know your question is rhetorical. Some ACAB is prevalent here. The cop should not have been there, the man should have been allowed to beat his wife or shoot everyone, how dare the police walk in harm's way and then do what has to be done.Enlighten me on the proper response for this situation, you can start at the part where the woman walks past the officer.
How do we know the suspect was trying to hit his wife? Because she said "he's trying to hit me" ???? Is that grounds for going in and mag dumping a man?Yes, it's a horrible incident. The suspect was bringing up a weapon. The cop, in no world or universe, is obligated to stand there and die. However, the mag dump is becoming prevalent. However, it does stop the threat.
So, how about the suspect not try to hit is wife and when the police roll up on the domestic, he doesn't brandish a weapon?
It is a two-way street. He should not have to die and neither should the cop.
That bull shit is just as bad as always blaming the cops.I know your question is rhetorical. Some ACAB is prevalent here. The cop should not have been there, the man should have been allowed to beat his wife or shoot everyone, how dare the police walk in harm's way and then do what has to be done.
He was already in the house, try again.Don't barge into the house and try to de escalate the situation. Wait for back up
You might need to just sit this out. I mean, I can't make a lot out on the video myself, but it's ABSOLUTELY CLEAR , that she came OUTSIDE. THE COP THEN WENT INSIDE.He was already in the house, try again.
Lol, okay mom.You might need to just sit this out. I mean, I can't make a lot out on the video myself, but it's ABSOLUTELY CLEAR , that she came OUTSIDE. THE COP THEN WENT INSIDE.
(So , you are absolutely wrong and thats your reaponse vs just saying, "hey youre right i got that wrong". )That's the whole point ! He doesn't have any info other than "they've been arguing all night and he hasn't hit her and the kid doesn't think there's a weapon. He has just as much info as we do when we see it the first time. Pretty much nothingLol, okay mom.
So at that point (remember he never knocked on the door or announced himself that we see) what is in plain view and what info does he have?
said so casually too. like "I'm just gonna drop this here and let the cop yell at him"Hard to belive they've been arguing all night long and hasn't hit her, yet.... now when the cop shows up all the sudden "he's trying to hit me"??? Smells funny to me
at some point, castle doctrine will apply against the congressional polizei too. at least, our founding fathers thought it did.Its easy to second guess this one but I gotta say it appears to have been a good shoot. The guy grabbed a rifle AFTER the cop entered the house and it does appear (to me) he started to raise it. Of course my opinion is worth what you paid for it![]()
You’re going off of a 20 second video clip with no other data. At least read the video description so you sound more informed.(So , you are absolutely wrong and thats your reaponse vs just saying, "hey youre right i got that wrong". )That's the whole point ! This is why you don't just barge in and dump your mag. Like I said, I don't know protocol in that situation, but this SOP that's prevalent all over the country of "kill everyone and then figure out what's happening " is insane and wrong. That cop PUT HIMSELF INTO THAT SITUATION, then used it as an excuse to execute a man. It's at minimum a really bad idea and he should have been suspicious from the get go considering the freaking kid called in but obviously wasn't scared and wasn't worried, was just annoyed. Then the wife happens to run out as the cop walks up and "he's trying to hit me" ??? The whole thing is suspicious. Instead of recognizing that, hey let's just run in and dump our mag out and kill the guy. Sorry, that just isn't ever going to make sense to me.
Yeah, it's super weird. She probably put the kid up to it. Obviously the situation wasn't some out of control mess. Everyone there was calm. The wife could have picked up the rifle (I'm assuming that's correct because I can't tell if he has anything) and handing it to the guy then walked out and told the cop "he's trying to hit me". It almost looks staged it's so oddsaid so casually too. like "I'm just gonna drop this here and let the cop yell at him"
I value not having police coming into people's homes and killing them. Did the guy even know the police were there???I don’t know about you all, but I value staying alive, so I don’t fucking go try grab a gun and point it at the cops and expect nothing to happen.
Since he tried to give them commands several times, that doesn’t seem to be a question.I value not having police coming into people's homes and killing them. Did the guy even know the police were there???
Looks like good shoot here. Dumb ass.
I don't know how you could tell that or how anyone could tell the cop was trying to give commands. Is there another video or something ? Are you a cop ?Since he tried to give them commands several times, that doesn’t seem to be a question.
Dude probably bought a new rifle off the px here and got into an argument with the wife when she found out. Probably attempting to explain its features and justify the cost to her when she seizes the opportunity to have it for herself
I do like the “LOVE” sign just left of the muzzle. Nice touch
Yes. He talked to them and tried to give them commands “don’t come in here”.is old dead guy even aware the police are there before being confronted and killed in his own house.
If you don't like being called an egg sucker, don't suck eggs.-my grandfatherHave you considered changing your screen name to dopy
wtf planet are you from? there is so much wrong there that's it's almost impossible to see how you come up with thatI’m with you in principle, but the wife walks out and says ”he’s trying to hit me.” Presumably she knows he is walking around with a firearm in his hands. She got him deaded. And the kid calling the cops because he is annoyed at their arguing, derp. Looked and sounded like a stupid situation all the way around.
but he didn't and that is the issue. The guy was hiding the gun behind his right leg, then starts to lift it up. Then he gets swiss cheesed.
Really? Calling the law is like squeezing the trigger. Can't take it back. Once she said he was trying to hit her he was pretty well fucked.wtf planet are you from? there is so much wrong there that's it's almost impossible to see how you come up with that
bad entry, no threat to popo, mans' rights completely usurped buy castle law, cops should not have entered in first place
It ain't a clear cut deal, sucks no matter what. If he didn't go in and the father came out and just started shooting, then people would be up the cops ass for not going in right away to prevent that outcome. He goes in right away and kills the guy and we're saturday night quarterbacking everything he did wrong. It's a lose/lose, damned if you do, damned if you don't. There are like 70 million police interactions every year. A few thousand go really, really bad, and it's everywhere, shared on facebook, instagram, tiktok, everywhere like it's happening all the time and everywhere. Think about it statistically, how many videos of shitty cops do you see every day. Now multiply that by 365, and even if you multiply that by 25 times to account for the videos that you never see, statistically, it's rare. It sucks there is even one bad shoot, but statistically, it's going to happen, and not just a couple dozen times. You'll rarely see the interactions where everything goes without a hitch, that's boring. We love to see the ones where everything goes wrong.
