Rifle Scopes Help a new guy...

I'm rather new to rifle shooting... just purchased a SR-25 ECR and I'm looking at putting the LEUPOLD MARK 6 EQOS 3-18X44 M5 DAGR on it. Any opinions, advice?

Nice scope, my advice would be to sign up for a class and learn how to shoot it.
