Rifle Scopes help I have a problem with my new nightforce

just got my 2.5-10x32 nightforce scope today
and trying to remove the battery and can't seem to unscrew the cap
and I have very little grip space on the bottom to hold it while I unscrew the knurled cap
any suggestion

Why do you want to take the cover off?

imagine if I don't check if everything is ok with the scope and I do need tot change and I am off in the woods
look pretty silly won't I

success did it
put an elastic band over the bottom portion this gave me more gripping power
but I can tell you this cap was on tight
