I have already looked at that. According to that my rifle could have been manufactured in 1932, 1954 or 1980.
This is why I asked the question as to the date of my rifle.
Maybe someone could enlighten me

The Rem 700 was first produced in 1962. So it is unlikely that 1932 or 1954 could be the manufactured date. My vote is 1980.
