Help Me Decide - Scope for an XM3ish Build

I'm waiting on my "XM3ish" build to wrap up and I'm close enough to the finish line that I I need to make a decision on which scope to put on it. I was originally planning to chase down a F1 NXS 3-15, but I've decided not to wear myself out on that since the gun isn't going to be 100% clone correct to begin with (using Badger Ordnance parts rather than IBA and a Bartlein barrel).

I'm hoping that you guys can toss me some FFP scopes that are close to the footprint of the NXS but perhaps a little more compact to go with the shorter overall length of the rifle

In terms of use, this is going to be a range toy with a max distance of 300 yards, shooting at paper and steel.

Here's what I've been considering so far (ranked from most to least favorite at the moment):
1) Schmidt Bender 5-20 Ultrashort
2) Schimdt Bender 3-20 Ultrashort
3) Kahles 318i
4) Leupold Mark 5 HD 3-18
5) F1 Nightforce NXS (would be closer to being "clone correct" but I'm not sure that I'm up to chasing one down on the used market)

For rings or mounts, I'm thinking
1) Nightforce ultralight rings (again, this would be closer to being "clone correct" but not necessary at this point)
2) Badger Ordnance rings or possibly a cantilever mount
2) Sphur mount with 0 MOA
3) ERA-TAC mount wit 0 MOA

 

[FUNCTIONAL]

There is/was about 3 to 5 (not exaggerating) f1 nsx 3-15s on the PX. Might want to look a little harder. Its really a nice scope.
