Help me design my AR10

I have a set of Armalite receivers & BCG and DD Lite 12.0. I want to build a rifle that is light and short, and capable to 600 yards, but would like to be able to stretch it out to 1000 yards occasionally for my shooting clubs' Long Range Tactical match. Now for the rest of the components:

Barrel will probably be a Rainer Ultramatch. Will a 16" work, or would an 18" be better?

I have a Nightforce 2.5-10x32 I can use. Is that sufficient, or should I get a scope with more magnification? I was looking at the SS 5-20 HD.

I have both Magpull prs and ctr stocks. Is the prs more than I need for this application?

DD12.0 lite and prs stock are not what I would consider light.

Unless you're going to mount clip on nv or thermal you won't need such a long quad rail.

2" more barrel will only give you 30fps increase so imo the shorter barrel will be more in line with light and short and still plenty accurate.

Scope sounds perfect. Remember more magnification means more weight and anything over ~12x requires a more solid position. Only other recommendation I would make is 40mm objective if lower light shooting will be required.

Not familiar with the RA ultra match profile but I'm shooting a light profile armalite barrel 600 on 6" steel no problem.

What about the trigger? Which would be best for this type of rifle: Geissele SSA, or Hi-Speed?

There are 3 hi-speed triggers with a bit of difference in pull, and they are all adjustable. If you like to be able to adjust the trigger to your preference, I would go with the hi-speed DMR. I personally prefer the simplicity of the SSA-E, less things to go wrong with no adjustments, and a sweet-breaking light trigger you just install and shoot.
