Help me hoard high end rifles before elections

I have and love the APC9k. I believe it to be superior to MP5's.
But the 223 and 308 look pretty great too. There isn't much info out on either of them though as you said.
APC9k doesn’t feel too small? I have been hesitant to go smaller than the APC9 Pro.
I don't think so. It feels very fast and agile in hand. I have a B&T style folding brace on it and I feel very confident when using it at 25m and in.
how about one of the M1 Garand rifles or more recent variants....hopefully they won't take away classic american military rifles.
Have you ever had the opportunity to compare it to the Banshee? For $1,000 more, I’d hope it’s significantly better... and thank you for all your feedback!
Short answer no.
I've handled other AR 9mm "SMG's" and have not been impressed. I personally don't like the AR style ergo's in a package that small either.
But maybe the Banshee's [radial blowback] bolt system does something magical for it. IDK.
It probably comes down to personal preference in the end.

i used to be in a pretty "fierce" religious organization and they didnt ban hunting, i mean 200 years ago if you wanted meat you pretty much had to hunt
It’s actually a good question...
There is a law in the Bible against cruelty to animals. If the hunting was for food, or even pest control , and served a purpose it is permitted. (However, kosher animals require a specific method of slaughtering, shooting an animal for food would make it not kosher.) But hunting for sport is not done...It’s actually not a law in the strict sense, but is frowned upon.

I'll echo what another member already said. The next time we have a liberal majority it will not be just the guns and mags they'll go after the ammo too. They want to attack gun culture (really American culture not just gun culture) on all fronts they figure that the best ways to do so are to choke the industry not just to go after rifles but to make the ammo so costly and difficult to obtain that fewer people gain an interest in shooting and thus there will be less 2A advocates. Looking at California ammo laws is a demonstration of that since they can't buy ammo online and are required to pass a background check for ammo purchases.
In counties like Australia that dems use a model for what they'd like our gun laws to look like cheap brass cased 223 ammo runs just shy of $1.00/round. I recall Mark and Sam an Aussie YouTube channel saying that Federal Gold Metal Match 300 Win Mag 190gr SMK was $85.00/box there compare that to $37.00 pre ammo shortage pricing here.
You have train with firearms in order to stay not just proficient but also to be safe with them in high stress situations and it takes ammo.
ETA some countries have even banned all military calibers that's why 380ACP is more popular than 9mm in parts of Europe and rifles in 556 or 308 in those countries are banned by calibers alone they have some variant of 556 there 222 or something. So don't blow off the ammo and armor is on the ban list as well. A few months ago I thought of ever needing armor were slim to none not anymore.

You also need parts to keep the guns you have running forever even into the next generation in your family. Spare firing pins, extractors, spare bolts, and couple lower parts kits. Assuming you have mags I would get the parts and ammo I needed to secure that the guns you already have will be running for a long long time before I focused on buying more guns.

ok, that kind off makes sense, i forgot about the meat having to be kosher butchered and i can see how that would be challenging with a deer...

Do you know which high quality parts are readily available? and what specifically should I keep, quantities types etc? I’ve never assembled an AR...
You’ve got a point... I’ve got an SR15 and a JP LRI20 in production, which is in lieu of the SR25... I want quality, but won’t necessarily spend infinite amounts on what will essentially become a “safe gun” for the foreseeable future... that said, I may go for it anyway

I may be wrong, but it seems odd that a smart young man like yourself would be so open to the idea of regular folks giving you the how to. Do you want my advice on how to invest in your kiddo's 529 or what 4x4 you need or what you want in an IFAK or what the best flavor Copenhagen? If money isn't an object then you can fly someone out to help you shop around town and buy shit for you online.

I did a lot of research before making my purchases, particularly on this website, but others as well. There are certain rifles that repeatedly are praised everywhere for reliability, accuracy and more... like KAC Larueand JP.
I value the opinions and advice, but do a lot of research myself. And like anything in life, you tend to get what you pay for.
These rifles were all purchased in the last 8 weeks... all based on research and what’s available.
I am active in helping members of Shuls get the correct means of protecting themselves. The amount of Jews carrying has risen greatly.

I have had 3 PWS rifles and still have 2; a 5.56 and a 7.62. They are good weapons, reliable and standardized with good customer service. Piston operated, easy to maintain take standard P mags.
You can't go wrong with a SCAR. I was really close to getting one for sale here in the PX but I have 3 semi auto's now and decided my collection needed a long range caliber so I'm building a precision bolt gun. Get a SCAR 20 or a 17.

Hey op I live in Vegas as well. I have some pretty cool bolt guns and love to shoot. let me know if you ever want to come out and try them. Maybe a bolt gun will peak your interest. However I don’t think there is any thing wrong with semi autos. They are just different flavors of ice cream.

My family talks about this all the time. You only need look at the composition of the educated, the elite, and the socio-politically active liberals to see their ranks are filled with MoT. I shoot at desert sportsman it is a great range but I also shoot in the desert south of town out by the dry lake bed
This is very true. I live in Washington which is not the most gun friendly state and seems they are always after us for more laws every day. Even in some of these super restricted states and cities there is a way to protect ourselves. One may be limited on what they can own but they can still own if they go through the correct legality.

There needs to be a more organized effort to help those who want to purchase a firearm navigate laws, and encourage ownership. I think about it a lot. As a born and bred New Yorker , I can tell you there is a lot of fear around guns and it’s not good...
Most of the people I have helped are NY Yeshivah students, Modern Orthodox Rabbis and Chabad Rabbis. There is a shift in the last couple years. I do exactly what you said to help train and navigate the gun laws to get them safely prepared if something ever happened. I also help navigate the Jewish Halacha on carrying guns on Shabbos and the such. These days with the common threat it makes the Jewish laws easier for even rural people to carry outside of an eruv. Have you looked into Brace Built rifles? They are sold out right now but I purchased one for a lightweight rifle and I am highly impressed at the weight and quality for the price.

The Brace Built looks nice, I’ve seen it on Rainier, but like you said sold out.
That POF Revolution is available and the lightweight with that firepower at that price looks tempting... but the mixed reviews have me hesitating.
What kinda optics are you gonna put on these rifles? Irons really limit the ability of those rifles.

Ar15s are a great focus, but don't negate some of the most evil and scary little carbines and pdws. A little 9mm carbine scares snowflakes is great for kids and new shooters!
If you do not have a few good handguns, I'd snag a few of those too. Glock 17 or 19 comes to mind, or better yet the 40cal version of either so you can shoot 9mm, 357sig, and 40 with minor parts changes.
A kriss vector would be worth a look in my book, as well as a cz scorpion. The scorpion is old school blowback and not at all smooth like an mpx or mp5, (good options too) but it is simple, affordable, plays nice suppressed, and will eat most ammo without fuss. At least mine does lol. Good aftermarket support too.
I saw you did not want a tavor, but man with a few upgrades I love the x95 Ive shot . Full 16.5 inch barrel 5.56 ballistics from such a small footprint, it's tough to beat. Accuracy is battle rifle good, better with match style loads of course. How about an aug? Same idea, a little more refined.
BT carbines are awesome too and would get my vote for sure if youre after something like that. They are a little more complex than others though. I don't have enough time on one to know if that's an issue however.
A LaRue semiauto is never a bad idea, or a gap built ar10 if you need some reach.
Fwiw I have a bit if experience with a pof piston AR and it has worked exceptionally and is stellar suppressed. I think you'll enjoy yours. I've not had to use customer service though.

Many others have suggested parts... however I’ve never built a rifle and don’t know where to start. Which parts should I be looking at, that are readily available?
