I bought the mk11 trigger kit, hammer etc and followed nutnfancys instructions how to install everything. But when I put the upper onto the lower, it will cycle, but the bolt release wont work, I have to push the action forward and then it will close. The safety wont work, and it wont fire. What the hell did I do wrong. Its now 430 in the morning and I have a paper weight for a pistol. I did not re install the mag safety, but everything else looks right. Without the upper on it, when I put the hammer in the cock position, pull the trigger it wont fly forward. The arm off the trigger is where it should be under the sear, I think. It is in that notch.

Can you help me please?

Did you replace the bushing where the mag safety goes, with a MII bushing? the mag safety has to be installed and working if you didn't convert it to the MkII parts

Make sure the "hammer" falls forward before you close up the backstrap lever. I had a similar situation the ONE time I took mine apart and I remember having to tilt it one way or another until you heard it fall into place. Check out some other 22/45 videos on utube as well. That nutnfancy guy is a mega douche....

Well since I dont have the mk2 bushing, I assume I cant use the sear or the hammer. SO, I reinstalled original sear, and all mk3 parts other than the trigger. When I get it all back together, now the hammer wont fall forward. I followed volq install guide, and I just have no idea what is wrong. The trigger is either not releasing the sear (safety in off position) and the hammer is not falling forward.

OK, THANK YOU. I will have to look at a blowout diagram to see what those are, and what you are talking about.

Yup...the dished part of the mainspring housing.
