That's the rear trunnion, which is riveted to the stamped receiver.

if there are rivets heads it is "stamped" if the receiver is smooth without rivets then it is milled. Pretty simple
this picture shows a stamped chinese AK.

I appreciate it. This is a pic of a lancaster arms. I don't know much about them so I figured I'd ask. It does look like the trunnion is riveted in.

My brother has a Lancaster Arms AK, his has a milled receiver. But this one looks stamped to me.
