So to start, I love my Springfield 1903. I also love cloning things but I am wrong handed.
well I am thinking a pseudo clone of the M1903a4 but left handed! Instead of doing the private Jackson thing from Saving Private Ryan. I was thinking of using a Winchester Model 70 CRF Left hand action and bottom metal. I can have a barrel profiled to same specs of the 1903a4 sniper, thus using the hanguard retaining ring and top handguard.
but I need your help in figuring out the stock! does anyone here know of or is a custom stock maker who will do a one-off project of an '03A3/A4 stock but inletted for a Winchester Model 70 left hand?
