Help with AICS stock???????

I just picked up an AICS 2.0 stock. I cannot figure how to fold the stock. I have tried to push and pul the button on the right side of the stock with no luck. What do you have to do to fold it????

push the button and push from the right side to the left

Tried that, no go. My neighbor tried it also. I laid the rifle on the ground and push on it with no luck.


I just recieved the stock NEW. Is there some sort of lock on it for shipping??

got it. a good hit with a hammer loosened it up

Push up on the rear of the stock just behind the folding apparatus. When it disengages, you can fold it. Its easier after you mate it to your barreled action.

Wow!! Did you really just whack your $1100 stck with a hammer!!! That's awesome!!!! Great Stock by the way, Getting mine hopefully in a month.

"Persuaders" are great tools for this kind of job.

Never underestimate a small amount of physical persuasion with a precision instrument like a lump hammer!! 2 of the newer AWs we recieved in our unit were stiff and needed a thump the first time or 2 ,after that the were grand
