I recently acquired a Schmidt and Bender 1.5-6 scope . It was on a rifle that I purchased and I know absolutely nothing about S&B other than their incredible reputation. It has a 30mm tube and is FFP. I would appreciate any information , I especially would like to know what the small dial on the turret does, if anything. Thanks

If that is on the windage turret I believe it indicated how far from centred the reticle is once zeroed and wether the mounts need realigning

I think the "T" and "H" on it indicates it is on the elevation turret. But I believe you are correct regarding the small dial being an indicator of mechanical positioning.

    Stomp, try this - https://www.schmidtundbender.de/en/downloads/category/26-instruction-manuals.html

Select the Klassik manual, and you should be able to find a similar control setup in there.

Thanks Guys, you are correct that the small dials indicate the position of the reticle within its' travel range. I cranked on the windage and elevation dials and could see the small dials moving. Well, that's a cool feature to have.
