I finally updated my app (Build 157 & Kestrel (1.23) and now my wind function is messed up. I can put in the DOF & WD on the Kestrel and the solution is fine. But when I use the Target card on the app it switches the wind around regardless of the DoF I try in the App. I noticed that it changes the Kestrel to 12:00 and no wind no matter what when I send targets and compute from the app. It used to hold my captured wind data.
I know it's probably something I'm doing wrong with the new update. I've restored the Kestrel & erased & re-installed the app. It's to the point I'm just going to give up on the app & my DRS card & go back to writing data cards.

When using the single target page on the app, the app takes control of the Kestrel and you need to enter the DOF and range into the app so it can instruct the Kestrel to compute the solution. This is done because if you are using the app, the Kestrel may be on the wind vane and not available to enter data, so the app becomes the point of data entry.

If you were referring to the Multi Target card selecting Pull Targets from Kestrel should duplicate the Kestrel information in the app and then available for edit in the app.

I am referring to the multi target card, if I "pull targets from the Kestrel" it lists targets in the app the same as the Kestrel.
I used to go up to a stage and use the Kestrel for DOF & WD /MPH (WS1 & WS2) then I would just enter the distances to the targets from the match book or stage description . Let the app & kestrel work together and load the data on DRS card, then hopefully hit some targets. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong know because when I compute the targets in the app it changes the wind to Zero & I cant find a way to edit the wind in the app.
Thanks for the help.
As of now I'm going to use the Target Card in the Kestrel but I just found it faster to enter the ranges in the app. If that makes sense.

I set targets in Kestrel and then go to app and Pull Targets from Kestrel then as needed I select Edit Targets in app and change the distance and then press Send Targets and Compute and the changed range is sent to the Kestrel, solution is calculated and returned to the app where the new E and W are displayed in the target card. Is that the process you are using? I get no wind change?

It's the only way I can get it to work now. I used to do it the other by just putting in the ranges in the app & it would use the DoF, WS1 & WS2 from the Kestrel. I'll just input the distance into the Kestrel now.
Once your new info screen is available it wont matter anyway, I'll just use that over the DRS card and just input the guns with the app.
