Help with Windrunner M96 BMG

Just wondering if anyone has difficulty chambering AMAX rounds (750 grains) in the Windrunner?

I have no problem chambering the M33 Barrett ammo, Handload AP, API, Incendiary. I can't even chamber the HSM 750 AMAX rounds.

I took a full-length resize case, and chamber it, no problem. Loading the AMAX round to standard OAL of 5.450" can't close the bolt. What's wrong? Help is greatly appreciated. I know that the Windrunner are able to chamber the AMAX rounds. What gives?

I have been handloading the 750s for my M96 without a problem. Did you try marking the bullet with a sharpie to see where the contact is being made? That might tell you something.

Just for curiosity, at what length (OAL) do you load your AMAX?
