So deep behind enemy lines here in SoCal I'm fascinated by the way the media has turned from news organizations to opinion. Remember when during the news there would be an editorial or opinion piece? Or when there were actually reporters in the ground on location to report actual news (not just disasters or some asshole in a raincoat and gum boots in the rain). Not anymore, the entire broadcast is opinion and there is very little local actual investigative reporting.
The rise of social media has also created a wild wild west mentality. Beyond the Russian and Chinese 'bots, there are a whole bunch of folks saying and doing things (like doxxing) against folks who are racists, donate to a campaign or support a candidate. These folks are doxxing racists and getting approval, especially from their peers in the media. There was no push back at all and now there are searchable databases on who is donating to which candidate (mainly to out Trump and conservative doners). This is primarily a tactic of the left and the logic is if you support conservative candidates, you must be a racist, homophobe etc. When did it become ok to invade the private lives of anyone for any reason?
The leaks during this administration that are breathlessly reported by the media are insane. I'm not a fan of Trump as a human being or as a representative of this country, but some of the "resistance" folks who leak these stories need to go to jail. While Trump may be the most self aggrandizing politician ever, the media has become so full of themselves they really believe what they say is important. They've either forgotten or don't care that their job is to report the news, not make it.
Here's a great news story that you'll never hear: The media/pollsters are so out of touch, they completely missed the true numbers in 2016 and were surprised by Trumps victory. They STILL DON'T GET IT! The bubble they live in must be opaque and soundproof. I've never encountered a "2" in the last 30 years. Maybe in the 70s when there was a general and semi-legit policy difference (mainly caused by Tricky Dick). But since 1990....I've not met a single democrat (knowingly) that would choose COTUS over free shit, COTUS over "saving illegals", COTUS over well..pretty much anything. That said, I've also been let down immensely by the GOP leadership since around 1989-90.

The underlying logistical machine that drives our society is free market capital allocation, currently operating as freeish. It is true that the debt-based monetary system, which the US Dollars and US Treasury anchors, is a ponzi and it is true that the odds are high that SHTF when this ponzi collapses. This is why Long Term Capital Management was bailed out. This is why the financial system was bailed out in 2008. This is why small business and main street were bailed out in March.

The conclusion isn't optional, but when it happens and what the narrative will be are the ultimate battleground. I have no doubt that if MAGA could hold down a win in 2016, with the left in a position of total control, that MAGA can hold down the win in 2020. What MAGA has not demonstrated yet, however, is the ability to enforce Constitutional law and prosecute even our boldest offenders for their crimes. Contrary to the demoralized and psyop agents, I do not fault Sessions, Barr or Trump for this prevailing deficiency because I acknowledged the monumental nature of the problem which is not just arresting, prosecuting and carrying out judgment upon the offenders. The real objective is to protect our Constitutional republic and that is a far more complex and challenging problem to solve.
