Remember all those times 2011-2016 the Republican-controlled House passed legislation with regards to Obamacare, and Harry Reid didn't allow any of it to see the light of day in the Democratic-controlled Senate?

A republican House wouldn't be too keen on passing gun regs, but a republican Senate might (some would love to) and I don't trust Trump on 2A at all.

They do not intend this too pass. This is just like when Paul Ryan kept passing repeal of bamacare, it was just to tell the voters what was coming if they got the Senate and the White-house back. Difference being that if the Democrats take it all in 2014 this is a preview.
