Looking for a good smith to inlet the stock on my FN/SPR rifle for the CDI Precision bottom metal I bought some time back. I also want the action bedded and the bottom metal and action/barrel Ceracoated black. GA Precision is looking like a 4 month wait last time I talked to Karey.

Any suggestions on who I should go with?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Hey guys, who can do stock inletting, bedding, and

William at Louisiana Precision is a hide member and one hell of a smith. Excellent work, Extremely knowledgable and very fast turn around time. Hide name is WNROSCOE....or you can look up his website at louisianaprecisionrifles.com

If he builds the rifle then he will guarantee a 0.25" 100 yard group...Now thats confidence !!!!

I have one and it will !!! And soon, will have another from him...

Re: Hey guys, who can do stock inletting, bedding, and

While Roscoe is an amazing gunsmith, I don't think he does inletting. Roscoe does do bedding and a lot of other things. I do think that CDI does inletting and would be a good choice if you are using their bottom metal. You may give Jeff a call and see what he can do for you.

Check them out at http://www.cdiprecisiongunworks.com

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks, your spot on, CDI is the way to go no doubt. Very fast turn around, killer prices to inlet and a great guy.

rob at rwsnydergunsmithing.com is great from what i here and plus ive seen some of his rifles at the local gun shows, im having him do mine the end of this month.

Re: Hey guys, who can do stock inletting, bedding, and

I would say APA, but I dont think they use Cerakote anymore. Roscoe is another good smith you can go with.

To reiterate the above posts, Jeff at CDI is your man. He will have that SPR back to you in less than a week, and does a sick job. I sent mine to him in October and it looks awesome (functions great too).
