Heyyyyyyyyyy

Bult my fire for tomorow today. Should be good, two cords of split bone dry hardwood with two cords of 24" green logs on top.

Will someone please ban this jackass again! Who in the hell drinks naty ice anyway!?!

You shut up too before I have your EBT card disabled.

Mind your fuckin' manners, shit-boy, before I have Tony "The Brewer" Kitchen-Gadgets come down there and redeem his manhood on your $1.99 piss-drinkin' jumentous ass.

Hay.

Oh, sorry, meant hey.

Up at 0400 with a coughing young one.
Couldn't go back to sleep so I made coffee and watched the full moon set behind the cloud cover.
Squirrels are bitching at each other and the birds are singing loud and proud.

I'm not stacking hay. That part of my life is long past.
Thank God!!
Last time I was stacking that shit was the '03 season.
Was on swing shift 3-11 and getting up at 5:30 to drive out to Custer every day to throw hay and shoot Rockchucks until 1:00. Drive back to Rapid City, take a shower and head to the base.
My rancher friend was really old and a Baatan Death March survivor. We lost him in 2015.
Just pulled a pic from the web and said hay instead of hey.

"jumentous"

Nicely done Veer. It's been a long time since I've come across a word I'm not familiar with.

And Maser, wasn't there a study that found inexpensive bulk packs of Natural Light were the most popular choice of "beer" drinking EBT users? Be careful. You may be giving a little more information away than you intended.

Diverdon, I want to be the first to offer my condolences and not smart-arse comments about that wood. It's clear to me what's going on and I'm just shaking my head at these other guys.

Good luck with the Viking funeral. May the smoke carry them to Valhalla.
Just be sure to get a permit from your municipality.

PPB, that looks good! Last weekend we had friends in town we hadn't seen in years. We smoked a brisket & like 8 giant steaks. Here in SW Texas we need to stay hydrated this time of year, so the beer was very cold & the pool was full.

Water--You are livin way too large.

One Shot we got another full moon tonight. Porterhouse on the grill, fresh corn on the cob. Trying to emulate your rich ass high livin ways..

^^^ You don't have to be rich to enjoy good food when you cook it yourself. The steaks they sell for $60 in the snobby-a**ed restaurants around here are $10 at the Grocery store. And better on my grill.

Oh and Lobster right now (being near Maine and all) is about 8 bucks for a yummy lobster. 40 in restaurant.

Good food is cheap if you know how to cook. Apparently, around here, we do!

Cheers,

Sirhr

Agreed. You just need the knowledge and be willing to try, fail, and put in the effort.

WTF are you planing on cooking with 4 cords of wood? Half a herd of bison?

My cookin fire is smaller, two bags of briquettes, and six sticks of hardwood to cook 50 1/2 chickens. The big fire is just for sitting around and looking at. I lite it at dusk, when It goes out everyone knows it is time to go home.

That moon was something. I was at a fundraiser for the FD historical museum. Watched it come up over some clouds so it was red, huge, and looked awesome.
We had delicious beer (Dales), lots of smoked brisket, pork, and wings, and a pretty decent live band. Ended it around a fire with friends.
Sounds like many of you had a good time as well!

and yes, ribs at Tuckers sounds great......
