Hi guys, I´m Frank from germany (Stuttgart region) and I´d like to say hello


Since I was a kid, I have always been quite into precision shooting. But since our gun laws are ridiculous and even get worse every year, I just thought: what the heck; I´ll start getting seriously.

I started with airguns to get some practice ...

... and went over to Rimfire ...

...just to get it right this time:
A Roedale Avenger II. Basicly a Custom 700 short action (20" / .308) in a AICS 1.5 chassis

I look forward to some interesting conversations and maybe get / give some assistance.

Who makes that mauser 98 stock for your CZ?

That´s basicly just a chinese knock-off of a CZ452 called Norinco JW25. They are quite common here in europe.
For the price, they´re ok but with a little elbow grease (polishing the action and sanding down the wood) these are quite nice.

Unfortunately, I have not found a solution to mount my ZF39 to the 11mm dovetail, yet.
So, I have a Leupold 6x42 installed. A Chinese copy of Czech rifle, pretending to be a German WWII-Rifle with an US made scope. Well.... that´s pretty international, isn´t is?

However, I live just a few miles away from Oberndorf a.N. so a real ´30s/´40s Mauser is on my bucket list.
