I'm lookin to get an HK p2000 and I'm thinking of getting the LEM, which is HK's version of DAO. I've heard bad things about the trigger reset. Anybody have one with either version?

can't stand the LEM. The hammer still moves and your eyes get focused on it. I don't like the feel either. That's my opinion.

shot the LEM and it made me hate the p2000. I am sure the standard trigger is fine, but the LEM triggers are no SIG DAO...it was garbage. I have pronounced trigger slap too, my finger got beat the hell up from shooting it.

Re: hk p2000: DA/SA or LEM (DAO)

I have a P2000 in 9mm with the LEM. I really like it. It definitely takes some getting used to, but that doesn't take too long. It will ultimately boil down to a personal preference thing, so I would try and shoot a HK with the LEM in it.

I ended up buying mine before trying one out, but I bought it because of the ambidextrous controls and some of the other features. I really ended up liking the trigger on it though, so that was just a bonus. If you're ever in Northern Indiana and want to give it a try, let me know.

I have a p2000 sk 9mm in the da/sa and love the gun. The trigger is not as lite as the usp match or a smooth as the p220 but is very usable for its intended purpose and i think better then the stock usp trigger.
