As stated the USP is made to run suppressed. It rocks on with an Osprey.

The tactical comes ready to run a can but I can drop an HK barrel and mepro sights on one of my USP's ( do not need the adj trigger) and both guns use the same frame. When I was looking for my 1st HK 45 I never found a tac model at a reasonable price but quite a few USP's so that's how it worked out.
Actually I wish I had a 1/2 dozen mags and more ammo....

Don't fuck around with sights and a threaded barrel on your regular USP, just get a tactical. Trust me on this one. I got a Jarvis bbl 6 yrs ago and taller sights. Now it's back to factory(and I'm patiently waiting for 10-8 sights to be released). This pic is dated and I now own an HK45 Tactical and have added a 10-8 rear to the HK45. HK anything is tits.

Sights are a breeze to change and fresh night sights are $125.
An HK barrel can be had for $225 so its not that big a deal.
If I wanted the "tactical" roll marked on the slide that would be harder to do.....

I've got both a .45 USP Tactical and a .45 USP Compact Tactical, both with threaded barrels. I just sent off the Form 4 paperwork Friday.
So, in about six months or so...or a year...I might get to shoot them with an Osprey.

I've owned several 45 suppressor hosts, and the 45 Tactical is my favorite. Its been around a long time, for good reason.

HK 45 or HK45C would be my first choice in a suppressed 45 pistol. HK USP Tacticals are good guns, but the ergonomics are those of a 2x4.
