Anyone know if there is a muzzle break or flashhider that works? Warcomp won’t work with the shoulder.

When you mount the brake hand tight. Does the suppressor fit on there?

If so, and youre not interested in timing it 100% perfect top dead center, what's stopping you from cleaning everything really well, applying the RocSett, then lightly torquing the brake on there? Rocsett will hold it in place pretty well even without a bunch of torque on there because of the temperature resistance of that compound.

Oh, nice rifle btw. The 53 is one if the sexiest rifles ever in the history of ever. Totally jealous.

I know the FN FS2000 rifles used a compression washer that sits within the FH and contacts the muzzle end, not a shoulder on the barrel. I haven't looked inside the surefire muzzle device lately but I do believe they have a flat surface that might work with the FN crush washer. If you are running a can, maybe the crush washer isn't a good idea. Custom shims might be a better option for alignment.

What is the problem with the shoulder on the warcomp? does it bottom out on the splines?

Warcomp is for a 416 but I wanted to try, same thread pitch. It doesn’t have the recessed area for the lock ring that the OG 53 muzzle devices have. I’ll have to try and get a custom spacer turned for it.
