Has anyone out there tried the subsonic load of 8gr. titegroup with a 168gr. BTHP on hodgdons website with a velocity of 1080fps? If so, how did it work? What did it sound like through a suppressor ?

SubscribeThat sounds like a fun load for a mosin. You'll be fine. I run 8gr Titegroup in my Mosin with a 160gr cast powder coated bullet. The primer has nice round edges and the brass is barely expanded.
Nice... thanks for the bookmark! I see some 300gr 45-70 loads I want to try on that site.Pretty typical stuff for the experimentally minded folks and those afflicted by shortages lol.
Works well! I'd prefer cast bullets always so it's harder to stick them in the barrel.
