Just so my fellow CT are aware.

Hoffman's Guns, one of the biggest gun shops in Connecticut has decided it will no longer sell "Assualt Style" weapons to anyone without a pistol permit, hunting liscense, Active Duty Military, or LEO. All in the name of safety! I'm ashamed that I bought my AR 15 lower from these jokers. I see their true colors now and I will steer clear!

"Effective Immediately:
Hoffman’s Gun Center will require a Ct. State Pistol permit to purchase “Assault Style” center fire rifles."

"Active Military, Ct Hunting License & law Enforcement will also be accepted."

"It’s a reasonable act
In a unreasonable time

At the very least ,
People we sell this type of firearm to
have had some basic training

It’s all about Safety"

So a hunting license means your trained to use an AR and you know to NOT shoot up a school? Makes a ton of sense.

Divide and Conquer

I wonder how lucrative Hoffmans will be when they are selling air soft and Super Soakers while getting robbed every Sat night by criminal with real guns.

Never really cared for those guys. Every time I went in there to possibly buy they wouldn't give me the time of day. Not to mention high prices!

Seems perfectly logical to me.
