Shot them in Florida, 15 miles outside of Okeechobee. I was useing a Marlin 30-30 and Kyshooter was using A GAP chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I popped my (with the help of the Gap) at 125yds and the other was dropped at 175+/-yds.

I live south of Arcadia Florida, these were only 30 pounders. Had about 25 of them hanging around till they ate all the acorns. There are a lot of large ones around as well, the neighbor catches them with his dogs when he's not on the rodeo circuit. I have yet to shoot one, to easy to catch and then butcher.

Neighbor mostly makes sausage. I have only eaten a small amount years ago but it was fine . He only butchers sows and bars. I would want to be up wind and in a different county if anyone ever cooks up some boar. There's one dog killing son of a ##% roaming around we have not been able to catch or shoot yet, I have not seen him but the neighbor says he' huge. He'll back up to some brush and you can watch the dogs flying through the air, what I need is night vision to shoot that sucker. He did not get big by being stupid.
