Holosun 510c vs Romeo4S - looking for a solar failsafe rifle red dot

Looking for a solar failsafe sight.
Thoughts on the Holosun 510 or 512 vs Sig Romeo4S? Any other options that might be better?

Looking to know which is better build, quality etc. I just impulse bought the Romeo4S cuz palmetto has a sale on it for $199 but want to know thoughts based on experience with either.

I'm pretty sure Holosun makes the Sig red dots, they're the same thing, just with slightly different features and a different logo.

IMHO, fuck the solar nonsense and just get one where the battery lasts years. The Holosun HS403R is the best thing out there next to a legit Aimpoint T2, but if you want the best, it'll cost ~$800 and say Aimpoint on it.

The 4T is what I've found to be my favorite and I've gone through several. The 4s is very good, but the 4t is a little more sturdy made and has a little better glass. I prefer the 4t over the 2 aimpoints I've had as well as the eotechs

Which did you like best for an AR?
Have you used the AMES?

I only have experience with the pistol red dots.

Go ahead and buy that 4S. I have 2 of them. Less notch filter than my CompM5 and the mounts they come with are g2g.

I like the 510’s a lot, I have several. I also really like the new SCRS-MRS that I have on my MP5.
