I kinda like the feature set. I'm an AI guy. I just like the way they fit me. I particularly like having an adjustable butt plate (cant and height), but I had to pay extra for that with my AI's.
The JP puts LOP adjustments and butt adjustments on thumbwheels, it appears. That's an improvement over the AI, and something I'd use. I don't hate the idea of AR grips. At a minimum, it gives you the ability to tune grip size to your preferred trigger finger placement.
The one technical area where the AI has the advantage is the ability to move the cheekpiece left and right. It makes is marginally easier to get my eye properly positioned.
I'm in for $1350 or so on an AI AT with the adjustable butt plate. For $250 more, I'm going to give the JP a hard look next time I'm in the market.
