I fired a few of these last month, but didn't have an opportunity to chrono it. It seemed rather on the "warm" side. Listed MV on the label is 2815, but it doesn't specify the test barrel length. I was hoping Hornady was going to come out with their own line of brass when I saw their News release at the SHOT Show, but alas, this is loaded on virgin primed WCC 08 brass. No primer crimp, but does have primer sealant.
Next time I get to the range with the .50, I will chrono it. It is rather expensive, even these days.

2815 MV? Wow that is pretty hot for Amax! Didn't know that they were out yet.
If I can find any out here I will run one through my Windrunner and chrono it

The problem with listed MV when they don't specify the barrel length, is you don't know if they are using the 45" military M2 barrel, or a 29" barrel. Makes a big difference.

Some posted data with different brands of 50BMG including the Hornady ammo with crono data. They used a Barrett Model 99 with a 32 inch barrel...MV was 2816 fps average.
