Hornady OAL thread size ?

Would like to tap my own brass for this OAL gauge, does anybody know the correct size tap I would need.

Spelunk beat me to it. Seems that Hornady used a odd extra fine thread for their OAL tool to keep the average Joe at bay.

Got it ordered today after calling around and as el gordo2 said they are not on the shelves at your local tool supply..

I tent down this road. it is very difficult to tap the hole straight enough. for time/money i just buy them of amazon with my Prime account i have it in two days for like 8 bucks. you have to make a lot of them to justify the cost of a decent HSS bit and gun tap.

If I remember correctly, isn't the shaft long enough to cut off the end and cut new "non weird" threads on it?
