I've tried those Australian hostage targets: they don't work over here; I could never get used to the no-shoot part being upside down.

That's cool. Do you have any problems with it stopping mid way through the flap cycle behind the hostage piece??

Yeah once in a while it does when you fail to get a solid hit, but then you shoot the hostage in his face and the flapper will fall to one side or another. You don't have to go reset it or anything like that.

Hahaha well that's a problem solved. Guess that could be used in a real life application as well. Target doesn't come around the hostage just shoot though them

I was wondering if they made it spring loaded or magnetized so it would always reset properly or not. That's pretty cool.

P.s. That was some good shootin' by the wife.

the flapper pin is actually welded at an angle which makes it fall forward against the hostage... I'll get some pics up on it later. I have a pinched nerve right now which makes one arm useless which is my I had my wife shoot it up and I couldn't get many pics.

She is a hell of a shot. My range USSA in Owasso has one just like that and its a blast ping it back and forth.

Not bad for ball ammo, how big is black square like 8"?

The black square on that one is 6x6 but it can be made smaller. The front plate can also be cut in a more traditional IPSC shape.
The steel is 46 100 Ballistic incase your wondering , it will handle 308.

It would be cool if there was a way you could design these so they could fit on existing IPSC size targets. I was thinking some kind of holder that would fit over the head of the target. I've already got an IPSC steel target, but would LOVE to add the bad guy head swinger thingy.

No problem i can make you the rear unit it is bolt on.
You would just have to mark the holes and install it . it will be about $100

CKA just got done filming the new spring lolli-popper reactive target . I'll have him film the chest flapper next week since he has already left for the day. He should have the first video up by tomorrow.

We have developed a new taget stand that is lightweight and breaks down easy for shipping.

Got the target and love it. It is challenging for sure out at 600 and built like a tank. Thanks for the fast shipping and look forward to getting in some more of your targets. I shot it with the 338LM and other than taking off a little paint it held up with no damage.
