I would like a hot load for my 243 win. I'm using a 27" Hart 1-8 twist and Nosler casings with Federal match primer at the moment..So what would getter zipping?

My load for the 115g burger VLD that I worked up to while doing my ladder test was 46.5g of RL-25 2995 fps average...I would expect some hotter loads for the 105's.

If you aren't concerned about barrel life you can get to 3100 fps pretty easy with that 105.

He'll you can get 3250 pretty easily with 105s. 43.5 gr of H4350 will get you close but I would work up to all this as every gun is different. You may end up blowing your face off if you just dive into these loads.

I am running a load with the TUBB DTAC 115s using H4350 @ 3050 fps with no pressure signs.

I tried h4350 with 115g vld and had better speed and luck with RL25..tried h1000 also better luck with RL25.

Today I took the 105 Amax for a ride with RL25. It was 35 degrees out and I worked it up to 47.5g of powder and the crono reported back to me an average of 3028 fps.. I liked the consistency I was getting 3028 to 3030 was pretty good to me.. 27" Hart with Nosler casing and Federal match primer..

Thinking of trying Retumbo next, it looks like it has less pressure and less temperature sensitive...I wonder about working loads up for RL25 in the cold weather.
