My parents have just listed there house in south west Virginia. Just wanted to put it out there for anyone here that might be looking in the Amherst, Lynchburg, Charlottesville. The house is outstanding and as listed it has a 100 yard private range and 9+ acre's. hunting is able to be done from this property and the one neighbor has 300 acre's and will let you hunt there with permisson.

To anyone interested, I lived in Amherst Co. Virginia for a number of years. Its a great place to be. If $$$ were not so tight Id be all over this. I'd love to move back.

I'd call it more south central VA. That's still 3 hours from THE southwest VA hahaha. Still plenty of mountains and the views around Lynchburg are nice.

Haven't been that far down there, but been to Lynchburg more than a few times - nice place, and if you ride a motorcycle, they have a bunch of fun roads around there. Plus, NCBIKE and VIR are pretty close by for the racing-inclined. Best of luck to your folks, Zack.

Years ago living in a remote area of Payson, AZ I had the luxury of have an indoor and outdoor range. Living in the beauty of the woods there was a lot of luxury depending on your view of life.

I'll miss some good hunting when they get back here. I have got a lot of deer on the property and the neighbors property. In 15 years of hunting there I have seen 2 other people both by permission. Plus the gun season starts before ours here so it get me in the mode when I go there. The pictures really just scratch the surface. If you think you might be interested I can you a tour any time.

Not at all, though the newly elected gubner is pretty libtard it wont go far here. We love our firearms. Very large military presence.
