I can't remember where I saw the video, but there was an 'investigative' dude who filmed a video of a similar number address on a "Hardy" street (as opposed to this "Harding" street) and the house description DID more accurately match the description given on the warrant or whatever. I saw one of his videos. It did look more like a “suspect” house, however does that make it better or worse? Also “hardy” is the hardy toll road as in beltway 8. As in on a main artery. All houses that close to the freeways look like that in Houston.

I'm not doing my point much justice, other than to say there were a MULTITUDE of screw-ups in this process, that (in a perfect world) would EACH have halted the process. Alas, the caravan just continued to rumble on through.

Ferguson was not "Organic" the mess that went down there was paid for with bad actors bused in to help make it more violent, and it leads back to Soros, and probably a bunch of others hiding behind him. There were also parties in the government that wanted the whole thing to go down bad for their own political purposes (as exemplified by the police threatening to arrest those volunteering to help defend stores, and their attempts at blocking news that wasn't "correct").

You may have hit on the key issue here: cops not policing their own. The detective responsible for this incident had a record of misbehavior and department policy violations going back decades. Why was he allowed to keep his job for so long?

Here's a potential (and likely a hopelessly naïve) solution to this problem -

Any instance of police corruption that results in a conviction, the resulting monetary settlement DOES NOT COME OUT OF GENERAL FUNDS PAID BY THE TAXPAYERS. Instead, ALL of the settlement money is drawn directly from the police retirement fund of the department that employed the convicted officer.

This proposal simply requires that the police police their own very closely... or they ALL risk taking a direct monetary hit to their retirement benefits. It would take only a couple of multi-million dollar settlements to make the good cops understand that they cannot afford to let ANY of the bad cops around them continue getting away with their corrupt behavior. Furthermore, any judges or DA's or any other public servants implicated/convicted in relation to these sorts of police crimes should also have all legal settlements drawn from their respective retirement benefit funds.

All of these public officials have been given extraordinary powers and resources, and when they are found guilty of violating their oath of public service, the penalty should be felt by ALL of their fellow officers as no one else is so well-situated to monitor their behavior. Make it so monitoring each other is one of their very top priorities.

There would obviously be huge political and legal battles to overcome in implementing this proposal. Police chiefs, police unions and legal advocates of all kinds would unite to throw everything they've got at killing it. The pressure put on any elected city or state official supporting enabling legislation would be tremendous, to say the least. But as long as police are shielded from serious, direct consequences for looking the other way when their fellow officers go rogue, we will continue to see more of these incidents.

Just released: Extensive list of complaints filed against Gerald Goines throughout his career with the HPD. Earlier, the HPD had announced that it may charge Goines with a crime for lying on the affidavit which led to fatal raid.

LE always labels someone a "criminal" even if youre friends with or seen with a criminal. They call it, guilty by association. So in my eyes, all LE are guilty by association. Until they start speaking publically about the problems with LE in this country, theyre part of the problem. Seems fair to me.

Eddie in Ireland and his fellow shooting enthusiasts did an amazing job of sticking with it for what feels like at least a Decade, dealing with everything they were attacked with and refusing to back down or take the easy payoff route, but instead sticking to their principles & making sure those who were evil in the police & government were held accountable.

If we had more people willing to sink their teeth in like that here & not let go, we could get a lot done here.

One day hopefully the whole story can be told, but it seems things were pretty hairy for Eddie and his friends for awhile, with the local corrupt police wishing they could find an excuse (or lack of witnesses) to get away with having them turn up dead.

No we weren’t murdered . Only just . There were times I felt seriously bad under threat from them . I was assaulted outside my house , had threats made against my wife and kids. As had others . Was frequently stopped By a select bunch I found cops . Had multiple serious additional allegations made against me as had them others . We had our phones tapped illegally after being accused of all sorts .

No one in out groups was ever arrested charged or convicted of anything I relations to these a allegations because they weren’t werent true . It was all designed to slow us down . The only thing thing it showed was who are friends were / are . It’s left a a very bad taste in all our mouths but we never wavered . It got very bad bad fkr while .

We took two commissioners out , 3 superintendents , 4 Sgts and I believe it was 14 beat cops . We toolbar 605 legal cases against them forbid firearms case so and won 598 of them . 3 were withdrawn and we lost 4 . Only recently if ever issued further like legla proceeidngs agoanst another cop who blatantly lied to me . Complaint to IA found in my favor .
