Amazing aircraft but I wonder if the expense is worth it.

Unlikely USMC will be involved in another Guadalcanal.

Been hearing about this thing since forever it seems and its always in relation to some issue.

I actually work with them closely. While far from perfect it is a new aircraft. In comparison to legacy aircraft its really a great package. The biggest issues have been getting components from partner nations on time and issues with parts suppliers.
