This project took a couple of years because it fell kind of low on the priority list, but I finally got it finished. Well, almost...

I'm glad I waited since when I started this, FDE Magpul stuff didn't exist.

Specs:
Armalite midlength flattop upper
Eagle Arms/Armalite lower
RRA 2-stage trigger
Magpul FDE MOE stock, MIAD (awesome BTW), windowed PMag (also awesome), and MBUS backup sight
EOTech 512 (will probably swap out to a 516 for side mounted controls, but good)
Unknown tan/FDE-ish rail covers

I'll have to take the completed rifle out for a range report but this upper shot exceptionally well on a RRA lower a few years ago when I got it. It's a little front heavy, and the MOE stock has a little too much vertical play so it will get swapped out with a CTR when I find one. In the meantime, it feels like a really nice carbine.

How did I do?

Thanks, FDE may not exactly be the best for northern Minnesota but I kind of like it.

I've been a fan of the midlength ever since I got this upper in 2005.

I don't think I'll be using the rails on the front end, but you never know what I might find to put on it.

I'll see what Midway has them for but I think I'll also be checking out board sponsor hasher's website. He's got FDE ones in stock, but I'm searching for a foliage one for my M-4 build. So far, I can only find commercial ones.

I really don't shoot a lot, and until I get a chance to go out and train more, I think this rifle will have everything I need for the moment.
