Ok, as you all know hopefully i have a lwrc repr with 20in barrel. As of tomorrow it will have a us optics 1.8x-10x-35 illuminated scope on it. The entire top of the gun is all pica tinny rail. My question is....if i wanted to mount a Burris fast fire mini redot sight on my weapon where would i be able to mount it. I don't think the scope has enough room on the front for an arms type attachment where i could just it to the top of the scope. Will I need to find one of the Predator Burkett offset mounts and put it on the top rail somewhere?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Adam

Not a bad idea....I won't know if this possible until I mount my new us optics scope. I don't know how much eye relief i will need until I mount the scope. Ive got a detachable buis so I'd like to keep that on. Great idea....I'll see if I can make that work.

Lots of folks like them up close, but I like them out on the forend, so I can "box" the target with the MRD, then either fire when centered or actually focus on the dot if a more precise point is needed.

The former is a reason I really like the Burkett mount, as it is at 1:00 in relation to the bore, so if I have a good cheekweld, and roll the rifle my alignment with the sight won't change.

I'm not a fan of MRD's mounted to scope tubes and such, because the cheekweld is different, therefore aiming is not as intuitive (for me).

I used a Daniel Defense offset mount and put the standard rail mout on the FastFire. I think Larue makes an offset mount for that but I ak not too sure.

I went with the Burkett mount...actually spoke with Matt himself. Luckily, I got my order in because he mentioned they are expected a spec ops order of a couple hundred units....that outta back these guys up in production time some.

I hoep this mount is ass sweet as it looks and everybody says it is.

I see you already have a mount but for anyone else this is an option I went with.

Now that is what I would have really liked to do....that is a totally kick ass set up. Unfortunately my USO sn-3 scope doesn't have enough space to mount it up on top....at least I dont think it does.

I getbmy scope back from USO to or row am and then it's off to get mounted and zeroed. USO only had my scope for 4 days and they did all this to it
1 . Factory rezeroed and changed reticles
2 . Replaced rheostat
3 . Added parallax adjustment

Very Impressive turnaround. Becky rocks...thanks folks!

Yeah dbateman, you are missing something. It's one more useless accessory that you can waste your money on instead of buying more ammo & getting a little more range time. When all the other ninjas see this on my rifle, they will know I'm a real "operator".

Yeah? You're saying Jerry Miculek puts a J-point on his rifle to show everyone he's a real operator? LoL!
