Rifle Scopes How far below (or at) do you set your zero stop.

semantically yes because I never saw the 500m part... but you never said, with a 500m I dial down, nor do you say anything about shots inside 100 like I did.

So wrong on a technicality, but right in calling a stupid fucker, and now that I know more than I did before, even Stupider fucker

Maybe dial up for Mil and down for Moa?

So now it's only a matter of a 500 meter Zero so you admit your were wrong on the scope turret issues .
I have a feed station at 500 meters . I change anything about the gun or scope I re-zero at 200 the amount high I need to be on at 500 and tweak the vertcle only at 500 to get on a target at the same spot , Then set the cap to zero . It matters not how the accuarcy may wander around or the wind or the season it's still a 500 zero . It's a worthless man that can't admit he was WRONG gracefully !

Some of my optics have a built in below zero stop but I really dont use it, nothing below 100 yards that I shoot at.
If my slighter is say 1/2 inch high I just go to my ballistic calc and change my zero range from 100 to 125 yards and if I am low I just add the deviation to my dope. Seems to work.

This sounds like some fancy Quigley - Ford only scope technology!

You were wrong !

And this is the Mother of all comebacks. Saddam wants you for his PR Office, you've got mad skills.

stop at 100yd zero, with .5 mil adjustment down from zero available if needed.
if i am shooting something closer, .5-1" isn't going to matter to me.
