How far off the lands for Berger 130 AR hybrids and 140 Target VLD

You may already know this so if you do delete reference
I prefer not to jam into the lands so as to prevent mishaps. When developing a load I work through the following process once I have completed an OCW.

I load 24 rounds, 6 each at:
0.010" jump
0.050" jump
0.090" jump
0.130" jump

i shoot 2x 3 round groups at 100m to find a jump that out performs the others. I do this as it is my understanding is that the sweet spot is somewhere around 0.030 to 0.040 wide. From the best grouping I may tune it in 0.003" if I can be bothered. This gets me good results. YMMV.

130 AR runs great at 0.030 off for me . 140 Hybrid about 0.020 off . I don't shoot the VLD 140 , but I've heard
a few guys locally jam them in the lands 0.010 or 0.020 . I've been caught with a round in the chamber during
an emergency ceasefire during a comp , had to extract the live round got powder everywhere ; no more
jamming for me ...

I ran the 130's 20k jump, they were quite accurate and easy to load, I used them in two rifles with the same reamer. Since then one of the rifles on a long action has had the throat extended out so I can seat 140's or 143s out in the neck, Makes a long jump for the 130's. they shoot almost the same. I think they are quite jump tolerant. Additionally, I killed two antelope and a cow elk with these. the antelope were fairly close and it piled them up. no excess meat damage but pounded them. the cow was 404 yds tagged her in the ribs a couple times and just soup in there. I was pretty impressed with the bullets.

I've always ran my vlds .010-.015" jammed. I've extracted a lot of rounds over the years and never pulled a bullet. That being said, I've finally gotten to my first barrel that doesn't like to be jammed with vlds. Sweet spot ended up being exactly at .020 and is .008" wide
