How many 5.56 brass in 3 gallons?

I got 3000 SRP and 3 gallons of brass.

Which will I run out of first? Primers or brasss?

What did you use as a conversion factor to arrive at that figure?

Not much culling. I have two lots of homogeneous 2X equaling 3 gallons in ice cream buckets.

I don't think I will bother cleaning any of my mixed that I was intending to tip with 55 grainers and make blammo.

Shit, I read 3 gallons and translated that to 3x5 gallon buckets.

Just 3 gallons? Run out of brass first.

As for the estimation tool, just eyecromitering 1000 loaded cartridges.

I was hoping those primers would go further.....

I'll use 8208XBR and 77s on my homogeneous brass.

Than got some CFE 223 and a shit ton of 55s for the mixed range Brass.

I pretty much poured through my 8 pounds of 8208XBR loading them.

I still have 1400 small rifle primers left.

Looks like I will be either making some Mk262 clone ammo with the pound of Tac I have or maybe I should just make some M193 clone ammo with the CFE223 I have 8 pounds of.

Leaning more to using 55 grainers and the CFE as I have a bunch of both.

Anyone got a good CFE load for 55s.

Looking at what I have left for brass..........lots of mixed stuff.

Gonna make 55 grainers over CFE223 and just lose all this brass at a class I have scheduled up at Sig academy in October.

Most of that shooting will be 100 yards and in on steel plates so I should find a load fine for that.

With primers and powder being scarce, I’ve been stuffing 55 grain bullets into m855 ammunition. Pull the ss109 projectile. Lube neck. Run through collet sizer. Seat 55gr bullet. This has take the 3 moa+ m855 ammo to about 1-1.5moa with every 55 gr bullet I’ve tried. Saving the ss109 bullets to unload on someone who is kookoo for Cocoa Puffs about that steel penetrator.
