Who has one and how do you like it? Particularly in 6.5...
I like the idea of being able to swap it on an off easily for those times when MB's aren't the most friendly things.

Just did some research on the 419 Hellfire and PVA Mad Scientist based on the "Fav MB" thread. The self timing brakes are certainly a great concept. I'm looking into those as well now.

i have the APA little bastard on my Tikka 260 and really like it. Easy to install and remove if you want. Definitely helped with recoil and follow up shots.

They work really well, I have the LB on the 308 & 6.5 CM barrels & run the FB on the 300 WM. They make it nice for the shooter not so nice for the shooters next to you. Less recoil than a Seekins or Badger & less mess than the Vais.

I have two 6.5 CMs, one with the APA LB, the other with the Heathen. I believe I prefer the Heathen, but either are fine. If I bought another, it would be the Heathen, or I might try the 419 Hellfire. If it is as effective as the others, it would probably be the winner due to ease of installation. The Heathen has the edge over the APA because it is tool-less.

I have one on my new stiller 308 build. Really like it and easy to take off to shoot FTR matches, tames the recoil of the 308 considerably. Builder recommended it and I went with it no regrets.

I have one on my HMR and going to put on on my RPR next. Love it! Really helps with follow ups and spotting my shots.
