I hear you but there is NO WAY they can't have money for this. the monies will be forced to come from some other place that is not codified by law I.e. medicare, welfare, etc etc. SS is legal gov't obligation on the GO

I tend to agree. What's so sad is that we could deal with this now and actually make it all work, and cut out the insane things we do for illegals and many other wasteful things, while also actually changing what SS funds are put into and make a huge difference, but we won't.

I like how they left taxes off that expenditure pie chart. Most pay as much in taxes as for housing.

If the left takes power again they may rewrite the law as they like. SS will go first as an "Austerity" measure. Their pet projects such as "Green Energy" (LOLOLOL) will somehow be too important to cut , because save the planet and stuff.... One more win and they never have to worry about another election as the fix will be in unless there is a tea party 2.
