Baltimore just had one of their Anti Violence leaders shot and killed while out getting food for his family. Some are saying a gang put out a contract on him. I have a friend who is on a task force and he's telling me this.
I voted its a fucking war zone what do you expect.
To many people caught up in that shit but its the kids in the middle of it that really pisses me off.

There isn't a politician on this planet that can fix what's wrong with these communities. It's a cultural problem, plain and simple. As long as the world blames everything but the problem - and worse, encourages and glorifies it - the violence will continue.
Agreed but the reluctance by Demonrat polititians to actually do anything about it is only exacerbating the problem.
Take New York City as an example it was a hot fucking mess until people said enough and elected Giuliani and they started addressing the problem and taking out the trash.
Teachers want to teach CRT, but 75% of Chicago kids can't read/write to grade level. An huge percentage are below 4th grade level. Seems like they should be teaching basic skills instead. And trying to convince the families to study instead of how to blame others.
On the upside, you really don't need to be able to read, write or think to understand Critical Race Theory.
Trade school format from Kindergarden on would be one idea. Train these people how to work, manage expenses and budgets, balance a check book and do a simple tax return. You can't approach the problem like everyone has to go to college or they are a failure. They need real life skills that they can quickly put into action.

Proof that liberal politician’s gun control policies are as effective as the personal gun control of the liberals doing the shootings; these idiots need to be taught how to effectively eliminate the threat and thin the liberal voting base. Funny how this is statistically almost completely a problem amongst democratic voters, but they want to make laws that predominantly only affect conservative law abiding people and prevent their ability to protect themselves. As if they don’t already have laws on the books that could be used to curb the problem that are completely ignored because they are deemed racist because the disproportionately affect one segment of society. It’s never going to get better, ever.

I can vouch for that part. Told a story a while back where they redrew the district lines one year and a bunch of white students from wealthy schools got stuck in the school district of a 95% black high-school. Most just went to private schools until it was resolved but some, like me, were like fuck all of that, how bad could it be?
No shootings that year, but multiple fights involving knives and people ending up in the hospital. Worst was an organized, planned gang hit on someone in the school. They had mapped his routes between classes, identified where to hit him during the day and had someone from the outside be let inside via a side door who then ambushed him in the hall with a knife and killed him.
And where I went to school everybody had guns in the gun rack of their truck. Nobody ever got shot or stabbed. Disputes were resolved behind the gym after classes-never much more than a broken nose or black eye.
