Just got my Dillon XL650. Im in the process of getting it put together. My question is how much Crimp do you put on a .45ACP? Im trying to compare it to factory loads, but thats not going over to well lol..
What about flare to seat a bullet? When I measure the brass I get a reading of .467 before it is flared. I flare the brass and get a flare reading of .471 +/- .001.. Am I on the right track?

Just remove the flare from the powder measure. Generally .468-.470 works. If it passes the plunk test you should be good.

You only need to flare enough so that the bullet sits on the case without falling.
