All of it until the mirage limits you I ran 27x last weekend probably could have run at 10x but a hell of lot easier to see my misses or hits on target at 27x

Use as much as the conditions and stages allow. During a normal match, I rarely run my scopes over 15-18x due to FOV and mirage. If you can get away with 25x, run it, but in most cases during comps you'll want mid to high teens.

Depends on your caliber in comps to I can run 27x and never come off the target because I run a 20+ lb 6br. If I was running a 6.5 or 308 I would probably have to turn it down to spot my impacts

Well, for the ones suggesting a low mag will work is also assuming that person’s eye sight is good or right glasses are used for correction . For a few of my buddies, they chat a hard tim seeing what I can at 10-14x. They required 18-25x.

I was able to spot hits with a 338 norma and 260 Remington with my buddy’s 4x16 henny at 1425 yards last weekend.
