How much should I ask?

Before I say anything more, I am NOT trying to sell anything on here, I am only hoping to get an idea as to what I should ask for my items.

I'm looking to sell some things that I don't need right now and put the money towards a new truck.

I have a RRA LAR-8 standerd opperater, with a Magpul PRS stock, 20 inch barrel, Magpul MIAD pistol grip, MOE trigger guard and a Millett LRS 6-25x56 scope. Also have 2 mags and 60 rounds of 7.62x51 to go with it. How much could I expect to get for it right now?

I also have a ProMag 100rd AR-15 mag that I have never used, how much are they going for right now?

This! People are paying insane prices for shit on Gunbroker. Set your reserve price at the lowest amount you'll take and the buy it now at $500-$1000 over it.

Yep, put it up on Gunbroker and let them pay you for it. A week ago I was irritated with the rates people were charging, but at this point . .f**k em. If they want to pay 50-100%+ on msrp for AR stuff, that's their choice.

I really hope we dont see a ban at all for the obvious reason (our rights being upheld) but also for the reason that I want to see how some of these people react in 6 months when they realize they bought $2500 worth of AR stuff for $5-7K and now its worth $2500 again.

Hell, I will give you 1,000.00 and a HighPoint 9mm if you don't tell everyone you screwed me like that!!! Seriously though, put it up over on G.B. and let the idiots go berserk bidding over it. I saw one FOOL pay 745.00 for ( 4) Scar 17 20rd. mags!!! If someone is that stupid who am I not to take their money!! Hell I almost see a new Surgeon Bolt gun coming up out of all this insanity.If some one wants to put a new L/R Platform in my lap for a friggin AR , HAVE AT IT!!!! Daddy's waiting on his new toy!!!Come to think of it I may just put 3-4 of them up for auction.I see new nightvision, S/B Optics and L/R platform coming.

Ya know, at first I thought, I hoped, that trolls were bidding up the prices to screw with the knuckleheads, but I'm starting to believe real money is being spent at $80 per magazine and etc...

Talked to the local gun shop owner:

The 308 Pmag is selling for $60 each here in Oregon.

An Hbar Colt (pre 1994 ban, unfired) sold for $2,300.00 on Monday.

Mini-14 NRA edition sold for $1,295, today.

308 SCAR went for $3,000 last week.

I am thinking that you could get $3,500 easy. Might even decide to keep the scope and sell it separately.

This is where I am. The Hype will pass, and prices will back down to "reasonable'" in 6 mos. HE won't "shut down" on of the best business's, in the States and the jobs, now. He"ll ban Imports, and stop at that. Just my thoughts, Josh.

As said, you could get $3500 now, or wait 6 months and get $5k.
The ban will be in effect by Mid year. The question is will it be permanent this time? I'm afraid it will. So you best ask yourself are you sure you want to get rid of this thing now?

My advice, hold on to it as long as you can.
