My most recent car purchase, I was sitting in the sales guys office talking prices and he was like we can't move $1 below Xw54 - you typed it; I read it. Good thing I was 5 beers deep and feeling energetic
Yup, last car I bought, I went to a dealership and had another dealership on the phone. they each had a car that I wanted (different colors) but close enough. I asked each dealer if they could beat the other person's price. I know it burned them up, (like I care).
One dealer was like, who are you talking to; I told him, none of your business. When one dealer told me he couldn't do it; I told him, well this dealer would, you lost the sale, have a great day.
Who would of thought buying a car in cash would take 6 hours. fk..
My phone rang
It was a dealer I had left about 2 hours earlier calling me with a better price
I told the guy I was in the office with what was going on (put phone on mute told other dealer to hold on)
He still said, we can't move $1 below this price
I took my phone off mute, said ok what price do you have? back on mute
looked back at the other salesman and repeated the price
he said I don't care we can't move below the price I already gave you
I quickly got up, said ok BYE, I got a guy on the phone that actually wants to sell a car lol
and walked out talking to the other salesman
I ended up not buying from either of as I found an even better deal at another dealer.

Like government employees, dealerships have set up their people to fail. The system itself is corrupt and rewards deceit and laziness.
So, today was one of the best days in a long time, probably in 20-years in reference to dealing with car dealerships.
I found my ride in all places, New Jersey thanks to a friend of a friend who is an Auto Broker in Texas who was able to hunt it down for me with his system.
I had sales people calling, texting, emailing me as if I was Steve Forbes.
Even had the sales manager call me to ensure I was getting all the information I needed, and they even put the vehicle on a lift and took pictures of the undercarriage for me, as that was a concern of mine coming from the East Coast.
$2K under Blue Book, compared to everyone one else in the Country asking $5K to 25K over Blue Book.
Went to the bank and had funds wired. Should have it delivered to my doorstep next week.

Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. This one is in Silver, which is a unicorn for a Heritage Edition, as most came in either Black or White. The other unicorn color is Dark Grey Metallic which was my first choice, but the two I found were another $20K+, and they wouldn't move on the price.

I always wanted an 80. When we deployed for Desert Shield, there wasn't enough vehicles to go around, so they turned to leasing off the local economy, and we got a brand new 80 with manual transmission and the ambulance doors, in tan. So I have a special affinity to the 80 series. Was a great upgrade to the 1988 Chevy Diesel trucks that we deployed with.
With Covid causing the price of 80's to skyrocket, and not being able to find one that doesn't have 300K miles unless you pay $200K winning a bid on Bring a Trailer for one with less than 100K miles, I gave up.
Yeah. Mine is just over 290k it's on 37's and armor, but it needs more power. 10mpg while going slow is rather annoying. Lol. I'd LOVE to have that one you had in DS.
OP has it all wrong. The great part about being way over on the remarkable intelligence side of the graph is, almost everyone else seems like a window licker stumbling through life with a blindfold on. I just assume that literally everyone I interact with in any way is a total drain boner and I'm not wrong often enough to not keep up the habit. This way I'm never disappointed with the amount of intelligence other humans possess because I simply assume that they haven't got one at all.

All the original Sig X5/X6 models were made @ their Mastershop in Germany & had features and accessories unique to only these guns. It’s all factory Sig from Germany a limited production run. This is a stainless PPC model with 3 way adjustable rear sights.Uhh, that’s was abortions should be illegal
Why does it look like that?
They share some parts with the traditional P226 in fact this gun is a P226 X-Five. Frame is the biggest difference to me when comparing to a traditional P226 the Mastershop models have a deeper cut under the trigger guard and the beaver tail. For my fat hands I get a better grip more natural feeling to me.
I’ve shot an SVI and they are very nice guns. I personally shoot the Mastershop models better. More accessory parts available for the SVI for sure.
I should note I’m not a competition shooter just hitting paper. Guys that actually shoot competition would most likely agree it’s not better in that arena than an SVI. These Mastershop models were originally designed for competition but never took off and became collectibles.
The factory SAO trigger has three different adjustment points.
