Neighbor sold them to me for 5 bucks a box... I'm a shooter not a collector. 70's vintage?

My guess 1960's was when plastic started replacing paper shells.

Old enough that I'm going to have a cleaning rod on standby for when one of them recoils a bit softer than I expect.

There is probably a date/code or lot number in the box. You can research it and probably find out almost exactly how old they are.

I have shot really old paper shells, and the results varied. A few you could literally see the pellets come out and fall in a few yards. Some seemed to have full power. We were using a stick the ground clay bird thrower so it didn't really matter. In that particular batch they all fired. Good luck.
